Responsibilities:

  • Engagement Excellence Partner is responsible for equipping field teams to deliver our North Star across the Roche Portfolio by:
    • Provide active coaching, training, problem-solving mindset for the team
    • Drive change, based on best practices and embed new ways of working
  • Motivating the field team by making the most of their in-call strengths for customer development plan, therefore enhancing business outcomes
  • Collaborating with the Regional Leaders to create development plans for the team and individuals to enhance their selling skills, technical skills, key account knowledge to ensure competitive advantage of the sales team
  • Working with the DACLs to develop and evolve the marketing campaigns to improve customer engagement and drive business outcomes
  • Keeping up to date with the changing environment, market and demands on the in-field team in order to coach individuals on the skills they require now and for the longer term
  • Coach new sales team members to complete onboarding program
  • Gather Feedback on all training programs from internal stakeholders and make proposals for improvement
  • Coordinate annual skills assessment with Regional leads
  • Identify individual and team training needs and build/implement a training program
  • Assist in setting annual learning and development (training) objectives and associated budget for the sales teams
  • Provide data, analysis, and trends important to the business for the field sales team that will facilitate their efforts to drive business

Requirements:

  • Higher medical/pharmaceutical education with a 6+ years in pharmaceutical industry including proven success as a Pharmaceutical Area/Regional Sales manager.
  • Experience as a corporate sales trainer is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of the regional customer management aspects;
  • Solid Presentation and Facilitation skills.
  • Solid interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Quickly identifies key issues,gives constructive feedback to make appropriate decisions/judgments;
  • Work effectively and collaboratively across functions as a team player to seamlessly help to achieve common goals.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and deal with numerous variables in dynamic situations.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, market, and customers.
  • Demonstrated track record of high achievement.
  • Organization development and/or coaching/leadership development experience
  • Successful demonstration of effective team and individual coaching and mentoring
  • Experience in building an effective team, and optimizing leadership, communication and knowledge management.
  • Travel approximately 50%.
  • Experience utilizing, state-of-the-art training techniques and proven project management principles.
